ULTRASONIC: When tools wear using conventional machining methods, and high process forces lead to material surface damage and when advanced materials can no longer be machined efficiently, ULTRASONIC technology is the new manufacturing solution. With flexible, oscillation-supported grinding, drilling and milling, the ULTRASONIC series can completely process parts with qualitative and high-quality surface quality Ra < 0.2 μm for up to 3-fold productivity increase. At the same time, the flexible machine design of the ULTRASONIC series allows ULTRASONIC hard machining of advanced materials (ceramic, glass, tungsten carbide, …) as well as milling / HSC milling on one machine.

LASERTEC: That is 3D laser removal for the efficient machining of the smallest parts with filigree cavities, laser precision cutting of thin sheet metal (< 5 mm material thickness), pipes and 3D parts with a laser cut gap up to 20 μm as well as laser precision drilling of cooling-air channels in aerospace components and power plant turbines. The new Shape Technology allows the lasering of funnel-shaped cooling into air holes with a laser beam.
